2026 Super Sedan Grand Prix - Richest Ever!

Gulf Western & Independent Oils Super Sedan Grand Prix Returns – Bigger, Better, and Richer in 2026 The stage is set for one of Australia’s most prestigious Super Sedan events to roar back into action, with the 2026 Gulf Western & Independent Oils Super Sedan Grand Prix. Set across two massive nights of racing — Night 1 on Friday 16th January 2026 and Night 2 on Saturday 17th January 2026 — this year’s event promises to be the best yet that cements its place as Australia’s Richest Super Sedan Race. In a huge boost for competitors, the Grand Prix Champion could take home a staggering $21,500 in prizemoney, raising the stakes massively with a total prizepool of over $43,000. Guy Thompon Promotor of Latrobe Speedway Pty Ltd say this year’s Grand Prix will “take it up a notch” — and with the nation’s best Super Sedan pilots expected to converge for the chance at glory, fans can look forward to two nights of thrilling side-by-side action.

Drivers are urged to keep an eye on official social media channels, as nomination forms will be released soon. With the event’s growing reputation and massive purse, competition is expected to be fierce. The Grand Prix once again enjoys incredible support from Gulf Western Oil Pty Ltd and Independent Oils.
End Release.
